About Me
Coz I'm easy like Sunday morning...
Born in a cross cultural mess, I never felt that I really belonged to a particular caste or spoke one language when I grew up.Maybe that's what really shaped my worldview and led me into thinking that there were no borders until I was introduced to the subject of Geography in school.(which I was pretty good at btw) Apart from that, love travelling, trying new foods, meeting open minded people, am pretty laid back, dislike worrying and stressing about things that we cant change and hate walking fast.Love blue skies with white clouds and the sea, hate taking the train in morning (in Germany, especially winter) So many grumpy faces.Love people who don't put make up on and dislike the ones who wear masks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy travelling and meeting new interesting people.Couchsurfing lets me do both at the same time.It not only gives me the chance to understand different cultures but also find out whats makes us similar and different at the same time.
Interests
I enjoy art in most mediums.Although I prefer the visual mediums.Art that has a message, highly emotive or that is simply intriguing.I have an unhealthy addiction to music. My favourite genres include almost everything 70-80s and a little bit of the 90s ,downtempo, deep and tech house at the moment, extremely cheesy pop songs(ones whos tunes get stuck into your head for weeks). It really depends on my mood and my heart rate.(yes heart rate, its a theory I am willing to discuss when we meet up) and very recently I've discovered that I can actually cook.I am better at appreciating food than cooking it though.I can cook Indian food pretty well.I also like to experiment a lot,my latest success was "Masala Käsespätzle" an Indian twist on the German favorite

Music, Movies, and Books
I've already mentioned my favorite type of music above, but let you still give me an example for each:
Almost everything 70-80s - The doors-Roadhouse blues
90's -Verve- bitter sweet symphony
Downtempo- Nicolas Jaar- Mi mujer
Deep house- Patryk Molinari(his sets)
Cheesy pop - Baby doll, hookah bar
Books-I prefer reading Business related books which have a strategic theme to them. Adapt by Tim Harford being my latest favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Asa kid I stole money from my moms purse to give it to poor old people, homeless people.(Only the old ones, not the kids or the able bodied ones)
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything cross cultural
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my own perspective on life, tell them about my beliefs, where I come from and share my rich cultural history.Apart from that being a very social person I look forward to interesting conversations over cups of coffee.Morever, the food (mostly Indian food) that I would be cooking for them.
