Hello Everyone,

My names Ash and i'm from Sydney, Australia :) I was born in Sydney and have lived here my whole life.
I have spent the last year travelling Australia by car/hitchhiking, going to amazing psy festivals, camping and waking up in some of the most beautiful parts of Australia but have decided it is now time to do it overseas!

My main motto for the past year has been work a little to travel a lot. I usually try to find a reception/administration job in a big city, work for 6-10 weeks and head off on an adventure again.

My first stop will be Amsterdam, followed by Germany, then head to India on a Solo mission plus whatever else I can fit in between :)

I love exercising and try to make a habit of it a few times a week, I have recently discovered the benefits of yoga and really enjoy practicing that too. Don't be fooled though! i'm not that much of a health freak! ha ha I like to spend my spare time chilling with friends and having a drink I love my wine! I'm also a smoker, which I feel is an important thing to point out to someone if I plan to stay in their home, one of my favorite moments of the day is putting my headphones in and having a coffee with a cigarette or two or three :) I never smoke indoors.

I also make and sell dream catchers, it's kind of my hobbie/passion that started when I was travelling Australia, at first it was just for fun and to learn something new, then I realized people actually liked my work. I try to incorporate crystals and precious stones into my dream catchers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess everyone is on here for similar reasons but I am looking for a place to rest my head and more importantly would love to meet new people and make new friends along the way, I like to share my stories and experiences with people and hear about theirs. One day, once I settle down (if I ever do) it would be amazing to host travelers in my own home.
