Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's an awesome way to make connections and really 'see' an area from a local point of view. I love going off the beaten path, but also enjoy a roof over my head haha. Traveling frequently is much more enjoyable when you have people to share experiences with and build relationships, which is another reason why I love this site so much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from the north to the south of Japan for a couple months, and spent 7 months backpacking across Asia and Europe by myself on a low budget too, which would have been a lot nicer if I'd known about this site then...
