G'day! I'm Ashleigh and I am currently travelling the world.

I was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia.
I have been travelling and living in many places throughout the world for the past 4 years, including South East Asia, where I taught English to kids. I then moved to Canada to work for a year and learn to snowboard. I then moved to New Zealand and became a Zipline guide and in the winter became a Snowboard Instructor.

Snowsports has taken me to even more places, I taught in northern Japan, learned to surf in the Phillipines, taught back in New Zealand again, Surfed in Indonesia and taught I n Vermont in the USA.

I did a road trip along the West Coast of the USA in April and met so many cool people along the way. I am currently doing a road trip with my roommate from Japan along the Easy coast of Australia - heading to Perisher for the winter. I would love to meet some local people, surf or snowboard, do some hikes, see some sights and see what the East Coast, finally my home country has to offer!

I'm here to meet a bunch of awesome people in their homes and hopefully be shown the coolest places of their country! Whenever I am back home, I host people at my place on the Gold Coast in Australia too!
I think its a great way to make connections with local people :)

I'm deadset one of those people that hasn't seen like ANY movie. No matter how many movies I watch I feel buried with more that I haven't seen. I think I spent too much time outdoors as a child.

I went travelling by myself at 17 through south east asia.
I became a TEFL teacher in Thailand and worked in Thailand and Cambodia.
I taught english in Northern Vietnam.
I became a Zipline guide in Canada and it took me to New Zealand.
I learnt to Snowboard and have now taught 5 seasons back to back in NZ, Japan, America, Canada and now Australia.
