Overview
About Me
I have an unquenchable love for the outdoors and sharing it with those around me. Originally from Georgia where I studied Wildlife Biology, my path lead me to Nebraska to pursue a graduate program in science literacy research. I am now an environmental educator in Milwaukee connecting children with nature. I love gardening, good coffee, cycling, rock climbing, birding, cooking, and reading books from my local library.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel is often memorable for the people, not just the sights. Any good travel experience involves getting to know the people from that area. It's a wonderful way to connect to a new place, and staying with locals will forever and always be more interesting and worthwhile than staying in a sterile hotel room. Plus, people who willingly let strangers into their homes are bound to be the crowd I want to be with.
