Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I are travelling from his parents' home near San Francisco to my parents' home in New Brunswick. We're accompanied by our little 10lb dog, Harvey, who is extremely well behaved and adorable. We have a lo of space to cover and a lot of relatives to visit and would really like to couch surf in cities where we don't know anyone in order to get the best advice about where to go. In my experience, google searches are never as good as talking to people.

Interests

I worked as a cook in several different environments (some restaurants, catering, home care environment, even a summer camp!) and it's probably my number one hobby. I hope to start my own catering business eventually. I love going to see live music, and enjoy hiking, biking, swimming and camping.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music, my favourites include Otis Redding, Kendrick Lamar, Black Lips, Harry Nilsson, The Strokes, Chance the Rapper and Elvis, so they're kind of all over the place. For movies, I'll watch pretty much anything. Books, again, I'll read pretty much anything but my favourite authors are Tom Robbins, John Irving, David Adams Richard, Lynn Coady, and Haruki Murakami.
