Hi!!! I’m an opera singer currently based in the USA, but discovering my passion for travel. I’m ready to go out and see the world and have a few adventures along the way. Luckily, my job facilitated quite a bit of travel already, I just sang in Sarasota, Florida and next I’m off to Santa Barbara, California. However, now that I’ve been bit by the travel bug, I’m ready to go out and experience all of the places.

In addition to singing opera, I am also a registered yoga teacher, with body awareness and wellness being one of my other passions. Naturally, this of course means I need a few shameless yoga poses in front of some cool places ;)

Other than that, I would say that I love to make friends so I’d love to meet you and have you tell me more about who you are and where you love to travel to and places that I should most definitely experience for myself :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing so I can travel in a way that gives me the perspective of the locals, so I can meet new people, and so I can create new memories

Music, Movies, and Books

Even though I sing opera I’m a huge fan of listening to just a little of everything, some of my fave opera singers right now are Stephanie Blythe, Fredericka Von Stade, Jamie Barton, and Elena Granaca. However, I’m also a huge fan of musical theatre, I am in love with Once on this Island, and am discovering an awesome appreciation for Songs for a New World. Yoga has introduced me to some cool artists too from making playlists like Alison Wonderland, Quinn XCII, and BØRNS. I’m as much of a fan of the oldies as I am of the newbies, and I just saw a Metallica cover band, so there’s that too.

My movie knowledge is a little bit more limited but I my guilty pleasure is Action/Adventure, some favorites include Black Panther and Mad Max. But I also dig Midnight in Paris and Crazy Rich Asians.

I am currently making my way through the Alexander Hamilton book, but I’m looking forward to reading Zelda next. I love the Harry Potter books and the Game of Thrones books, and I grew up on David Eddings

I would love to learn more languages, where those hole in the wall/best kept secret places are, and how to drive stick shift
