About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to meet new people to expand my circle of friends, push my comfort bubble and develop contacts around the world to do cool things with. I love experiencing new things and I've found the best way to find new experiences is through connection with other people.
Currently living in Cambridge UK, and would be happy to show people around!
I love long-term travel - I've spent time in South America and would love to go back, or head east and see Asia. Having people to meet and connect with along the way would be amazing.
I'm also looking to connect with people who are into flow arts (I spin poi), yoga, alternative physical/mental/emotional techniques, meditation, or anything else along similar lines. My long term aspiration at the moment is to change career into teaching yoga, massage therapy, and other such things - so much to learn!
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch a lot of movies, although I do rather like ones where things explode.
Currently reading a lot of books about yoga, other favourites:
Radical Honesty - Brad Blanton
Mastering the core teachings of the Buddha - Daniel Ingram
Loving what is - Byron Katie
Thinking, Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job, got rid of an apartment full of possessions down to a suitcase of essentials, spent a year travelling and living abroad - learnt so much :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Philosophy, spirituality, programming
Learn: Flow, culture, places, ideas
Share: Everything! Yoga, movement, joy, food, emotions
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I've learned of spirituality and joy, ways to be happy, my story and journey. I can practice yoga with you, spin poi for you, cook simple but hearty meals. I can teach you about radical honesty, relationship anarchy and polyamory, Buddhism (and meditation).
