Overview
About Me
I am a Seattleite with a love for the outdoors, hiking, climbing, and wildlife photography. I am presently a grad student studying physics at the University of Washington and nearing completion. I am doing research with the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
I love road trips in the north, BC, Alberta, Yukon, NWT, Alaska, etc. Nothing makes me feel more alive than being on the road with breathtaking scenery and beautiful wildlife. I love visiting ancient ruins, e.g. in Mexico, Guatemala, and Ireland.
I recently got my motorcycle license and I am looking forward to getting a bike and doing some road trips on two wheels.
I spent 9 years volunteering for Mountain Rescue, although I am not doing that now since grad school eats up so much time.
I am new here, but I have reviews you can see from Airbnb.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am hoping to meet travelers both at home and abroad and interesting people wherever my travels take me.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love some metal, but I also like some jazz when I am studying.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016, I drove from Seattle to Dawson City via the Alaska Highway and the Klondike Highway. I even took a short flight to Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk. I went home on the Cassiar Highway, then a ferry in the Inside Passage, and drove the length of Vancouver Island. One day I would love to drive the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyaktuk, especially now that I have a beefier vehicle for that long gravel road.
What I Can Share with Hosts
