About Me
Hello!
I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Wisconsin and also went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I finished my Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education to become a teacher. I served in the Peace Corps in Colombia as a TEFL teacher for over two years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people from both my country as well as others around the world. Although I'm not in the position to host anyone right now, I would like to do so in the near future!
Interests
I enjoy meeting new people, mostly through traveling and consider myself to be an adventurous person open to new experiences. My educational background has led me to explore new cultures and I love learning about what the world has to offer!
Being outside and playing sports is also important to me. Biking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, and running are all things that I enjoy. I maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle and I'm coming to learn more about nutrition through friends and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to the latest hits during the week, dancing salsa on the weekends and kicking it back to acoustic on Sundays. I listen to all types of music, I suppose it depends on the mood and situation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived and studied in Peru for a year while exploring the sand dunes, Amazon rain forest and indulging in the incredible food.
I joined the Peace Corps where it took me to the Caribbean coast of Colombia for over two years to teach as an English teacher. Check out my blog if you're interested to learn more! ashleyhuebscher.wordpress.com
