Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite series of books right now are the Neapolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante, I recommend them to all my friends. Movies/tv shows I have been watching the Handmaids Tale, and adaption of the book by Margaret Atwood and it is very good, and a bit scary. Other shows I love are, Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, Twin Peaks, and Gravity Falls. I listen to a lot of music but my top four right now are Taylor McFerrin, Julianna Barwick, Grouper and Portishead.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built and curated a mobile gallery for five years called nAbr gallery and have since started a few other project spaces including a space called Imagination Giants. I ran an online arts magazine for a year before moving to London for grad school and I am currently working on setting up my own podcast which looks into the stories behind artist-run and self-organized art spaces.
Teach, Learn, Share
This will be my first-time couch surfing and I would love to record an informal interview with my host. I like collecting bits of the places I travel to and the experiences of the people I meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am pretty tapped into the goings on of different art scenes across the world, from LA to Chicago to London to Venice. I would really love to share these insights and experiences.
