Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I write full-time and constantly seek inspiration. Being a free spirit it is hard for me to stay in one place for too long. I travel often and since I am for now a 'starving artist' I appreciate help and guidance on my many adventures. I met a fellow couch surfer in Charleston and decided it is time I jump on the band wagon.

Music, Movies, and Books

It would take me days to list them all. Music is too hard to narrow down, I can appreciate all types of music. I am a sucker for lyrics that make me feel. I like inspirational movies, documentaries, Lord of the Rings & the Hobbit and the Burbs...I love the Burbs. I am a writer so naming a favorite book is next to impossible. I love the writers who were nobodies. The ones who couldn't survive without writing. The ones who could see beauty in the pain of life. The ones who died writing because they didn't know how not to. To us they are the Hemingway's, Kerouac's, Wilde's, Bukowski's, Dickens and Fitzgerald's. But to them they were nobodies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My road trip to Colorado all to see a band at Red Rocks. That trip was amazing. I was also nearly killed by a double decker in London and survived what seemed like a scene from a horror movie in Wales.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm...I don't know about teach but I can inspire, listen and encourage. I can share funny, sad and sometimes useless stories. There is no boundary to how much I can or am willing to learn. Growing is learning. To stop growing would be to stop living.

He sums it up pretty well. I am a free spirit. I have seen first hand how easily life can be taken. I live for the moments big or small. I want to meet people with similar outlooks or different outlooks. I want to learn and grow and share what I have taken from my experiences.
