Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people who like travelling like myself. If I can take them on a tour of the area, drive up to the mountain to snowboard, maybe someday Ill bump into them again in tofino where i need a place to stay sometimes..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hid in the forest near clayoquot sound with my trailer / camper and lived off the grid by myself for 5 months last summer. I was fortunate enough to experience a part of the Rainbow Gathreing on rainbow beach, at kennedy lake..

I fished prawns off the side of my kayak, ate crab and cooked it on a fire in ocean water.. I bathed in the mouth of kennedy river where the pools of fresh water were warm and crystal clear.. picked chantrelle mushrooms for dinner.. Met a few other 'hiders' and we all became friends.. I will never forget that trip.

I can teach how to cook great food, Id like to learn to jump start my own car, and Id like to share my home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a friendly place to come back to visit whenever there around. a hub to plan trips through.. a place to shower, shave and have a hot meal. I know how hard it is to find public shower and a couch and a meal with friends without needing a reservation.. I really just want more people to visit..
