Hey Sugas! I'm Ashley, I'm from NYC. I love meeting new people and learning perspectives. I like to live my life to the fullest and always have a good time. I never really take things too seriously, but I keep it real. I am the type of person that will let you know you have a booger in your nose, I got you! I am just starting to travel, I work at a radio station in NYC, but I am taking some time off to explore the world and live my life. I love music and I always need a soundtrack playing! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know what it feels like to travel and have no place to stay, so I want to give back what friends and people I have met have given me. Also, I love meeting new people and hearing about their life experiences. Every Friend I have met across the world knows that my couch in New York is always open to them. I also think it is a more authentic experience to meet locals and explore the places only a local would know about.

Interests

MOVIES & MUSIC! always will be my first love and when they are put together it is magical.

ADVENTURES: Hiking, skydiving, surfing etc. The last two I have never done, but are on my list! Now Y'all I'm little out of shape, so if we go hiking together just know I will not be leading.

HAVING FUN: Life is too short, my main interest is having a good time, making memories, and learning from different people

Can I even choose, I listen to all genres of music, I don't discriminate. All depends on my mood and vibe at the time. Classical, 90's Hip Hop, R&B, Classic Soul, Motown, Flume, REBA thats my girl! the list goes on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snuck into Governor's Ball Music Festival using a fake staff badge and walked right through the front gate. We ended up backstage in VIP and ended the night in priority viewing of Chance the Rapper performing The coloring book.

Teach, Learn, Share

I found that what I can teach always depends on the person, and if what they want to learn is something I can provide. If that makes any sense?

I would love to learn as much as possible about anything. I am always interested in learning new things, and reading books on subjects I never thought about picking up.

What I can share is laughter, an ear, advice. I make some good homemade apple pie!
