I am a 25 year old cyclist, traveling and exploring the United States by bicycle before I have too many responsibilities and things that tie me down to one place. I am bike touring with my husband Steve. We left Pennsylvania back in June of 2014. Since then we have biked daily and are sitting on over 6,000 miles. We have biked many well known bike paths (C&O Canal, Great Allegheny Passage, I&M Canal, Hennepin Canal, St. Tammany Trace, Great Mississippi River Run from Davenport, IA to Minneapolis, MN.) We are currently in Florida and this has been our 21st state line we have crossed.

We still have some time to kill until the weather is a little more desireable up north, to head back home. We live in a community house in Philly.

My husband is a certified welder. I on the other hand can honestly say I have yet to go to college. I find it a little difficult to dish out thousands of dollars for something I'm not entirely sure I want to spend the rest of my life doing. At least that was my train of thought in the past. Now after this journey I have been on, I am ready to go back home and go to school to be a welder as well. and maybe a teacher of sorts.

I love reading about social reforms, anarchism, people that have stood up and out for their rights among the oppressed, not just here in America but abroad as well. WE LOVE COFFEEEEEE!!!! My husband is a smoker, but he respects anyone's wishes of no smoking at the house. I enjoy a fine drink of whiskey or beer after a long and strenuous ride. I like music of all kinds, but have lately had my interests in music shifting to Country, String, and Folk from the earlier days of headbanging punk rock and metal. I think I'm starting to calm down a bit now. I love hiking and exploring the woods. I like exploring urban buildings and houses that have been left to nature. I love meeting and talking with new people from all walks of life and find their stories to be compelling. I also enjoy learning. You can learn from almost anyone, all you must do is listen.

I like science fiction, in both movies and books. and yes i do enjoy the occasional 'chick flick'. Independence Day is my all time favorite movie though. it's a comfort thing i guess? I can listen to any and all music, even Opera... on a good day. But i like jazz at night, classical during the day. and everything in between the cracks.
