I am a 28 year old assistant principal at an aboriginal school in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! I am a proud Chilean, enjoy a healthy lifestyle and enjoy connection with people! I believe in being a life long learner and believe in always following your passions! Teaching and learning from the Kidlets in my school brings me so much happiness BUT I am also very spiritual and my heart has led me to leaving it all behind for a year of travel! On my travels, I most enjoy meeting and learning from locals and immersing in local culture! That is why I think coach surfing might be the route for me :)

At home, I have my best furry friend Halo (a corgi dingo)! Upon my return we would be happy to host travellers and share our love of Alberta!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals and experience local culture as well as stay with fellow traveller who can relate to my experience! This will be my first time traveling alone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived a devastating earthquake in Chile. Participated and danced at Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. Cliff dived 65ft into ice cold spring water in Jasper, Canada. Participated in an authentic sweat lodge and pow wow with aboriginal communities in Canada. Organized and planned Mind Body Spirit days for children to proactively deal with mental health issues! Became an assistant principal. Started my year long adventure July 2016!
