Overview
About Me
28, work for Gibson, the guitar company in Nashville. Originally from Chicago, I moved to Nashville in 2015 to pursue new adventures. I love taking weekend trips away, and I am constantly daydreaming about traveling.
I’m planning a solo trip around Ireland and wanted to maximize connections for couch surfing and pub hangs! I have some distant family to stay with in a few cities but otherwise will be looking to grab a pint with other locals once my tourist activities are done- or heck, would even love the company there too! perhaps a tour guide through the Ring of Kerry 😃 if i’m really able to reach for the stars here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to have really fun nights and connections and experiences with the locals while traveling. I’m not much for the touristy areas, but I am interested in knowing how you love your city/town/country.
In anticipation of that upcoming trip- I wanted to pay the community forward by housing other international travelers, taking new friends out on the town and seeing the experience of a host first-hand so that way I understand how to be a pleasant guest as well.
I plan to be fully verified soon.
Interests
My interests mostly lie with pop culture. I went to school for Anthropology but long before that my babysitters got me hooked on MTV at a very young age (the music video era!) I love music, attend at least one local live show a week, I love entertainment, the comedy of professionals and friends, checking out new restaurants and bars.
When I am traveling I usually seek out 1. the traditional sense of local food and music traditions, 2. national or state parks/ landscapes or 3. the young, hip, art areas.
I believe that bonding over drinks is the most efficient bonding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
missed two trains out of London as well as the start of a bus tour in northern England and still managed to have THE MOST magical time.. attitude is everything and you can fall in love with an afternoon if you allow yourself to be grateful and experience the awe and wonder.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share local knowledge of Nashville, and specifically, my neighborhood, the trendy East Nashville. I absolutely love curating a trip based on visitor’s interest. There is much to do here when you know where to look.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendly conversation, a lowkey attitude, 100% dedicated interest in knowing about your life as a local. I will freely exclaim how cool or how beautiful something is one million times so you will always be sincerely validated and thanked.
