About Me

I am a lover of the outdoors, meeting down-to-earth humans, hiking, chocolate, travelling, and campfires. I love to cook and share stories, learn languages, and find the best ways to enjoy this live we've been given.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met some of the most interesting people during my travels through couchsurfing, and am very grateful for all they have taught me. I currently live outdoors as a guide, but would love to show anyone around the mountains of New England! I know that when I have the stability of a couch in my life, I will always keep my doors open, as meeting people from different backgrounds is one the best ways to learn and keep a fresh perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently listen to a lot of Iron and Wine, Andrew Bird, Kishi Bashi, Natalia Lafourcade, Monsier Periné, Bomba Estereo, Eddie Palmiri

Recently have been reading Rumi, The book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Tutú

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the many beautiful Páramos in Colombia - which culminated in summiting my first Nevado (snow capped mountain) at 5,276 meters and 17,110 ft in elevation. This required several days of walking through the muddy and cold terrain of the park before reaching our destination.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share about my passion for the environment and how we can do our part to conserve it, and learn from others their practices that are eco-friendly as well. I love hearing about travel stories that others have had, and share my own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a warm personality, chocolate, and tea and some great conversation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Honduras, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In
