Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I love art in any form, and my favorite medium is a makeup brush/color brush. Aside from the creative outlet the beauty industry gives me, it is also an opportunity to MAKE SOMEONE FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES! A few Christmas seasons ago, I rallied up my favorite stylist/MUA friends and hosted a brunch at a women's transitional home and provided all of the residents with makeovers - hair, makeup, nails. We gave them products to use and showed them how to recreate their look. These women live here to better themselves, get out of trouble, learn life skills, find employment, and get back on their feet for themselves and their children. Some of them are victims of domestic violence, and others have been in and out of jail/rehab. WHAT A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE and I loved to see their smiles and tears of joy! My experience in the field also includes work on music videos, commercial shoots, theatrical productions, drag shows, bridal parties, and more.

Learn: I have been looking into astral travel, lucid dreaming, meditation, and the law of attraction. My interest was sparked by a fascination with the power of the human mind, and a roommate who is a Reiki master. I've visited the Association of Research and Enlightenment at the Edgar Cayce Center in Virginia Beach where I am from - SUPER DOPE.

Share: Stevie Nicks might just be my spirit animal. I have a wild heart that can't be tamed. My best friend passed away this year and I've made it my life's purpose to do everything I dream of, and everything that he can no longer do. My bucket list is long! The ocean is where I go to center myself. I'm 27 and this year is the first time I've felt TRUE love for myself and who I am. <3
