I am a middle school English teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. Between teaching my students and coaching Speech and Debate, I am also working on my Master's Degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am finally finding the time and opportunity to travel more, and I'm excited to get out and experience new places like a local. Being from a tourist town myself, I know the best spots are usually the ones that locals frequent, so I'm looking forward to having more unique experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was fifteen I had a job as a worker in a base camp for a massive wildfire in northern Nevada. We worked 18-hour days and cooked meals for the firefighters who came from all over the country to help fight this particular fire. It was my first "real" job, and I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English to secondary students, and I always have stories to share about that. I'd love to learn about new customs and cultures.
