About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spreading love, amplifying joy, integrating parts, piquing curiosity. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.

ABOUT ME

I've been told that I have a lot of gusto. I'm a sometimes feisty sassy pants that is also a deeply empathic listener and space holder. Dancing is my jam - really, movement in all forms. I like my travel to be spontaneous and full of adventure and exploration of the unknown. In terms of being a guest on someone's couch, I'm pretty easygoing and adaptable. I'll do my own dishes, cook for you and, if you like, dive deep into conversation that leaves us feeling more alive, more integrated, and more connected. Or we can dive into play and keep it light. Or, I can crash on your couch, read quietly, and find myself an adventure outside the house if you don't feel up for hanging out ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Joy is radical, get it where you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just looking for couches to surf currently, but I just landed with my sweetheart in Nevada City and it's a nice pad with good friends around, so we'd have a pretty great time if you stayed. Hot tub and all :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only used the site a handful of times, both hosting and surfing, and it's always been great. I've been offline for some years, traveling less and grounding into home more, but I've launched once again into more nomadic territory and am excited about reconnecting with this community.

Interests

Yoga, dancing, lawn games and board games, playing outside, traveling locally or afar to see and try new things, disc golf, billiards. I'm also down to just relax and read or watch a marathon of a great show on dvd. When I'm really bored I like to bite around the outside of a pretzel to see if I can halve its width without breaking it. Engaging with nature and with people generally feel like the most worthwhile endeavors. I like to make art too, but somehow I forget to do it most of the time. I feel most alive when I'm traveling - I seem to have a case of insatiable wanderlust...

Music, Movies, and Books

This question overwhelms me. Just too much good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just sold most of my stuff, wrapped up an entire, beautiful life in western MA, packed up my car, and followed the call of spirit and love to relocate to the west coast, with an open heart to anything that comes my way. A big leap on the chance for deep love is paying off and this shit is getting cosmic ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love giving bodywork. I can teach yoga. I can teach some Spanish. I can teach you the best way to eat a grapefruit (in my humble opinion). I'd love to connect with folks and practice contact improv, acroyoga, and all the body-based play! I want to learn how to breakdance. I want to learn about the coolest secret spots in every place I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

High vibes, open heart, conscious communication, wild abandon.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
