I grew up in Huntington Beach. I went to college at UC Davis and received a degree in animal biology with a minor in evolutionary anthropology. I have been a veterinary technician since college, but I am headed in a new direction now! I just finished yoga teacher training and am very excited to begging offering that up. I'm going to spend the next few months traveling, before I head back to Santa Barbara to teach yoga and start a restaurant/catering company focused on clean, sustainable, organic, and local foods. I am upbeat, outgoing, responsible, and mindful :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to travel on a budget for the next few months. Travel is something I've always wanted to do, but have been afraid of financial constraints. I am finally comfortable and ready to begin this journey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This sounds silly, but every day I get to wake up and walk out of bed is an amazing thing to me. In 2005, I was in a car accident where I fractured my spine in 4 places and was paralyzed. Luckily, doctors were able to reduce inflammation and fuse my spine allowing me to regain my ability to move and feel. 10 years later and I am still going strong. I am so grateful to have had this experience when I was so young (17yrs old) -- it gave me a very strong gusto for every moment, every step, every sunset, every experience, and every life.
