CURRENT MISSION

I recently had my first couch surfing experience in Portugal. I was blown away by the hospitality I received and how much fun it was. My mission is to share the couch surfing joy.

ABOUT ME

I am someone who has quite a curious mind and many interests. I love to travel, experience new things, learn languages, read history and generally explore. The coolest things I've done to date are probably: living with a Peruvian family for two months, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, impersonating Frank Sinatra in a talent show, learning to be a doctor, and recently, cycling the Camino de Santiago. I love my family more than anything and visit my home town of Milton Keynes regularly. I love the outdoors and think camping is awesome. I like playing piano and taking pictures with my fancy camera. My favourite thing in the world is the feeling of wonder that arises when pondering the magnificence of life, the universe and everything.

PHILOSOPHY

I like the Gandhi quote: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." I have learnt a lot from Buddhism, which is very important to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recent trip to Portugal. Stayed with a couch surfing Master who has had two thousand surfers! Also some humble students who were so generous and just hosted for the fun of meeting travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts. I love jazz and will always want to go to a gig. I also enjoy classical concerts. Any live music really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This Spring I cycled the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about music, medicine, Spanish, bicycles, photography, astronomy and everything I know about Buddhism and meditation. I want to learn French and improve my Spanish. I want to learn anything and everything.
