About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet as many people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back person who enjoys meeting new people and having a chat. While travelling I like to try to get off the beaten track and experience new things. I'm interested in any form of new experience or adventure and I'm always eager hear about other peoples experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was told about CS by a friend in mid 2012 but didn't bother making an account until I planned to travel later that year.

After using it in late 2012 to meet so many people, I then realised how good it is! CS has allowed me to meet loads of great people and it's definitely something I use a lot now.

I've organised a few group meet ups while I've been abroad. I have been hosted by some great people and have also met loads of awesome locals and travels alike, who have now become good friends of mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Hanoi, Vietnam. I attended a weekly CS meet up at a small street side bbq cafe and met some amazing people.

Since then I have used it in a lot of other countries. I've made a whole lot of new friends and have some awesome memories now because of CS.

Interests

If I ever get the chance to have some time off working/uni I always try my best to get over seas but of course that all revolves around if I have enough money to do so. Because of this, much of my spare time is spent reading about future destinations and places to travel to.

While I'm at home I enjoy cooking (and eating) good food, listening to music and trying to improve my foreign language skills. Out of the house I enjoy a lot of things... In my spare time I enjoy surfing (in the ocean), during winter playing basketball and when I can, I go fishing or exploring somewhere. In between that, I enjoy hanging out with mates and having a good time.

I enjoy learning about new culture and language. I always make my best effort to learn some of the local language before travelling to a new country.

I enjoy the chilled out side of life but i'm also always up for a party. My favourite place to be, is in the ocean. Whether it's swimming, surfing, diving it's a place I feel most relaxed and most at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy collecting music and have done so for many years now. A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like, but that's a tricky question. I usually say, I just listed to good music! :D No specific genre, if music is good, I appreciate it regardless.

That said, what I listen to the most is probably chilled out beats. Anything that I can relax to is good. Although depending on the time and situation I also listen to other music as well.

Fav artist at the moment: Pretty lights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many things to mention here... Traveling leaves me with so many stories, all unique in there special way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about language and If I can, teaching it as well.. Expect me to ask you questions about your language and where you're from. '

If you're travelling and need travel tips, I will always try to share with you what I know, be it tips, locations, how to get somewhere. I enjoy helping other travellers as much as I can because I always get the same thing in return.
