About Me
CURRENT MISSION
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.
ABOUT ME
I am a teacher and a musician, and so is my husband. My husband teaches band to grades 5-8, and we both play in various local music groups and symphonies. I play bassoon/percussion with the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra, Goshen College Chamber Orchestra, Grace College Wind Ensemble, and Symphony of the Lakes. My husband plays tuba with the Grace College Wind Ensemble and Symphony of the Lakes.
We love to travel, try new foods, and experience everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually listen to alt rock and metal, but I spend most of my time playing classical music as a bassoon player.
My favorite movie is Life is Beautiful.
My favorite books are difficult because I love so many, but I have an Alice in Wonderland tattoo. I also love Watership Down, Douglas Adams, Stephen King, Harry Potter, and The Little Prince.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, my husband and I hiked the Oirase Gorge in Towada-Hachimantai National Park.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn more languages. Linguistics is my favorite study from when I was an anthropology major.
