ABOUT ME

Okay, wow, this is tough. I guess I would describe myself as open, curious, and adventurous. I love animals, and I have three dogs. I love to hike, and meet new and different people. I think most of my friends and family would say I'm talkative and inquisitive. My favorite vacations were to destinations where I was able to mingle with the locals. I find different cultures and beliefs fascinating. I am on couchsurfers because I am participating in a study abroad program to Spain from May to June. I will be completing my last few credits and I figured since I'm there I should see Europe. I must admit, while I'm obviously excited about Western Europe, I'm not sure how I'm going to like it. I would describe myself as more of a person that enjoys seeing and being around different cultures than a site/touristy type. That being said, finding couchsurfers added a whole new layer of excitement for me because, I now have the opportunity to meet people from the countries I am going to visit and to hopefully learn a little bit of what life is like for them. I guess this long description is all I have for now, but please feel free to ask me any questions!

PHILOSOPHY

"Be happy for this moment, this moment is your life", you only get one shot at this thing so make it count, don't be scared, take a risk. Chances are you're going to regret not risking it more than risking it. People always say that you should life without regret but most people don't take the chances and opportunities that life presents. They get scared of what could happen. That's not me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Mexico, Chichen Itza, a Mayan village ruins was just incredible and closer to home in Michigan, is the De Young Zoo!
I've also bungee jumped and done a free fall from a 110 feet (into a net of course)

Ummm, I'm a psych major, I can listen and analyze, I can help people with their English.... I guess I don't know many of my skills. This is going to sound strange but I guess I would say one of my skills is talking. I'm very open and I enjoy listening to other peoples opinions and talking about them.. I guess I could say I aid in self exploration??? Maybe I'll find some more skills on this journey!
