Fun loving, adventurous, free spirit, that enjoys copious amounts of music and the finer things in life! I live in the moment, love to travel and have new experiences (preferably with others). Making connections with people is something I greatly value. Every soul has it's own uniqueness and beauty and it's incredible to be able to explore the similarities and differences in all of us.

Traveling the world as a digital nomad at the moment. Teaching English to children in China.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been both host and traveller and have been at it off and on for several years now. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places, and feel like this is such a great way to be able to do both!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted several travelers so far and fully enjoyed each experience! I'm a bit of a nomad right now though so hosting hasn't been an option recently.

Interests

I enjoy music in all forms, listening, singing, dancing, playing (guitar mainly), and on and on... Meeting new people, hanging out, hooping it up (hula hooping), gettin crafty, yoga, playing games, delicious beer and wine aaaand tequila, cooking up a storm, worked at a co-op restaurant as a part owner for 10 years.
Now living life like there's no tomorrow and traveling the world.
Yea that about sums it up for now. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: 1984, The Handmaid's Tale, The Giving Tree, The Lorax, The Song of Ice and Fire, The Alchemist, Harry Potters, etc

Movies: Almost Famous, V for Vendetta, Blow, L.A. Confidential, The Little Mermaid, All the Pixar movies, everything Hayao Miyazaki,...I enjoy movies, but also don't like to spend too much time in front of a screen. I refuse to watch bad movies, and dislike really dumb comedies...it feels like I'm wasting my time.

Shows: Downton Abbey, Firefly, Law and Order SVU, Avatar the last airbender, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Mushi Shi, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Cowboy Bebop

Music: Always changing!!
I love so much music and have very nostalgic attachment to so many different genres/decades this list could go on and on.
favorites including 60s pop, classic rock, 70s folk rock, 80s hits, 90s!! How I miss radio of the 90s. Ska/reggae/some punk.
I dislike rap and country. But like their friendly cousins hip-hop and bluegrass.
But right at this moment I would say favorites include:
Jack White(Blunderbuss), Delta Spirit, Band of Horses, The Civil Wars, Dr. Dog, The Head and the Heart, The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket, The Devil Makes Three, M. Ward, on and on and on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach hula hooping lessons, perhaps cooking, yoga, guitar, music, travel hacks, I dabble in poi, devil sticks, and contact juggling as well! Or would enjoy sharing any and all of those things and more!
