ABOUT ME

I am an undergraduate at UC Berkeley in CA; USA. I have been conducting research in Kenya on education reform for the last two months, which has been very exciting, nerve-wracking, and a great learning experience. I come from a humble background, and love learning from other people and developing sincere connections. This is my first time signing up for couchsurfing, so I am (again) nervous, excited, and prepared to learn from the experience, hoping to find a safe and interesting environment with fun and thought-provoking people!

PHILOSOPHY

To try to live life with the greatest level of sincerity, empathy, and desire to learn. I do my best not to judge others and take every step with humility, knowing I do not have all the answers, but hoping to be my own personal best.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not participated in couchsurfing formally before, but have stayed with and hosted friends who are members of the couchsurfing community. I hear wonderful things from my friends and hope to participate, as well!

兴趣

As you can tell from my Africa trip, I love to travel! I traveled/volunteered by myself two years ago in the Middle East, in Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian areas of Israel. I am currently in Italy to visit some friends I made in Berkeley, and am wanting to visit Florence (and hopefully Venice) before leaving in a few weeks. I am a singer, and really enjoy jazz and soul styles. I also enjoy cooking and watching movies.
