Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world intentionally. Take adventures and learn from mistakes.
ABOUT ME
I am a one who engages in adventures that are tempered with pragmatism. When travelling, I find that sites, cities, monuments, etc. are much more meaningful when someone from that area is telling me about it. From my trip to NZ and a grandmotherly woman that I met along the way I have proudly adopted her concluding description of me: An Enterprising Young Lady.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life because it has been given to me. Each one of us influence the development of this world and it is my intention to facilitate community and true confidence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I join up with friends who are hosting to welcome Surfers. I am not in a position to house people at this time, but know how important it is to be welcomed to an area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friends, the Shelbys and the Jacobis, have hosted people as they come through Arkansas and I have had the great pleasure of being part of the welcome crew - hanging out, eating, and talking.
Each time that I have met a CSer, they are people who are interested in people. And, they happen to be some of the most fascinating individuals.

Miracles - they happen
Teach, Learn, Share
In teaching history (i was a high school history teacher for 5 years), I reiterated the fact that the world would not be the same without each specific individual. Simply stated, we each influence and affect 100s of people a day who go on to affect 100s others - if not more. The emotional response, intellectual challenges, and internal restructuring we evoke in others helps to make them who they are, which affects how they impact the world the live in. In a small but fundamentally true way, the world would not be the same without you in it.
Practical understanding for travel: plans are made to give you direction. If they change, and chances are pretty high, adapt to the changes in the best way possible when you have no control over the changes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
