i am not sure how i feel about labels, but here are some words i like a lot that apply to me in one way or another on most days, but we are always changing... idealist, enthusiast, spiritual, lighthearted, bohemian, humanist, optimistic, lover, friend, open, member of a very large family, socialist, localist, carer, healer, believer, peace, solidarity, daughter, active, listener, silly, playful, comfy, laugher, visceral.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, i currently live with my parents, placing blame on the economy, so i am not able to open my couch at the moment. however, i would love to have a chat with anyone coming into the area, and i promise that one day when i have a base that consists of a couch, it will be waiting with arms wide open!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have couchsurfed all over scotland on a road trip, meeting such wonderful people that are still in my life today. also, surfed a few in the us of a, they were all such very positive experiences that i can not wait to do it again.

Interessen

i find most things interesting, especially people's quirks and guilty pleasures, because i think they reveal much more than the surface interests - so to be fair, here are some of mine: 80s hairbands, xcel spreadsheets, warhammer, kraft macaroni and cheese mixed with peas, MGS (gamers you know whats up), watching the way people walk, really bad horror films, when people take things way to seriously

in all three categories i like ones that make you uncomfortable in a good way, make you want to move or make you think for long after its finished.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

i am someone who says "that is the most amazing thing i have ever done/seen" on nearly a daily basis. i think this may be because i have a broken memory, so it really is like every experience has no other experience to compare itself to. so, today i would have to say the most amazing thing i have seen is people exercising their full potential of hospitality and generosity. thank you universe.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

i believe in teaching by example and learning by experience - so we will share by teaching and learning from one another when we meet. however, i love learning from people things that some call 'useless knowledge' because i disagree completely - i usually find these tidbits much more amusing than 'useful knowledge.'
