CURRENT MISSION

Protest work to stop the Keystone XL tarsand oil pipeline while seeking recovery from the case of Giardia that's interfered with the pursuit of my life work of biodiversity conservation for the past 7 years.

ABOUT ME

30 year old guy who does field ecology and conservation biology research as part of dedicating himself to biodiversity conservation (and environmental work generally). Grew up without electricity or running water, back to the land and unschooled, in rural Maine: Fell in love with nature, decided I had to do something to protect it, and therefore have dedicated my life to working for biodiversity conservation (interfered with these last 7 years by chronic Giardia: looking to remove that obstacle from my path).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with some wonderful folks in upstate New York while participating in the Flurry contra dance weekend (February 2013).
