CURRENT MISSION

I'm on a road of self - discovery as I begin life in a city very different from where I grew up in Massachusetts. I hope to become more active in the outdoor world and meet great people with the same interests.

ABOUT ME

I just settled into my new home of Salt Lake City and I'm loving every bit of it. I can't say that I know all there is to know about the area but I'm willing to either explore it with you, or find answers from my new friends that have had great suggestions for me so far. I enjoy outdoor adventures and I'm looking to expand my interests by attempting to ski this winter!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy life. I make the most of every waking moment. I am blessed to say that I have a positive spirit and a beautiful outlook on life. I believe that God has a perfect plan for my life. I intend to make Him smile as he watches the plan unravel -- part of which will be in forming new relationships as I venture west to settle into a new chapter of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot currently host as I do not have a space to call my own. But I'm happy to make suggestions or meet up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed my way to Salt Lake City in search of my apartment and then again for my official move to the city. I have had great hosts and would like to return the favor, when I am able. I love meeting new people and I'd love to make connections in an area I have yet to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ever changing! I listen to rap, hip hop, R&B, a local Christian radio station in Massachusetts.. My favorites typically have a good beat to dance to with bass. I love finding a new band that is performing in the area. I have a very diverse taste in music:

I love sharing music and learning about others' favorites.

I won't even say I'm a movie buff, I enjoy them from time to time but I'm not one to sit and watch TV much.

I love books that are about nature or adventure. I prefer memoirs or nonfiction, but I am always open to new suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to mind is skydiving. I had such an amazing experience in Colorado! I highly suggest it to anyone, even those that fear heights. It was an adventure I'll never forget -- the beauty, serenity and thrill that burst into life for that brief moment are indescribable.

I enjoy conversations about health/wellness, cooking, sharing recipes and talking about things that truly matter in the current world.
