ABOUT ME

I have somewhat problematically wide range of interests some might just call ADD. I have been involved in the following subjects to degrees ranging from dilettante to pro (not in chronological order): dance, primates, economics, professional wrestling (i wish), mycelium, film, music, music, raw foods, Chinese language (speaking and writing), bodywork, running, watercolor, philosophy, probably some other stuff too....Oh and I love people

PHILOSOPHY

Well...don't know if I have one, it changes based on the situation, persons, circumstances. THAT there is an "ought" a "morality", "ethics", is absolute I am certain, well not so much certain as in "knowing" with my cognition, so much as it is the spark of our type of being. WHAT that morality is at every glance primordially subjective. We can have conversations about it when you come to visit me or vice versa.

Well, I participate by selectively hosting and surfing with, so far, some of the coolest people I have met in my life. Our last surfer came with his mom and directed musicals... <3...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but good and great experiences, I will do this for the rest of my life, with my children and hopefully grandchildren!

Interests

Tooo many things, must learn to specialize! Dance, permaculture, dostoyevsky, mycelium mycelium mycelium, crazy useful bodywork, Chinese caligraphy, the monasitc life, ibogaine, guiros....Right now music, old timeish, bluegrassish and otherish stuff is taking up a lot of my time.
I am a radical massage therapist helping people of all income brackets afford and fit massage into their everyday life combining a plethora of styles and holding sessions anywhere from 5 minutes to three hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

Um...I like Bluegrass...a lot...and many other things, the sound track to megaman 2 is rather compelling.. anything truely honest, heartfelt, unassuming, with a genuine effort to communicate love and not preach I will listen to..maybe..if its good. I am quite a film nerd and I have thousands of books, I love philosophy and young adult fiction (newberry award winners preferably) the best. Two ends of the spectrum and I do as much as possible on audio books because I think stories are mostly meant to be told aloud and because I am an auditory learner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have apprenticed with the a group of Maori healers in over 120 sessions, worked with varying degrees of neurotic monkeys for 5 months (and still do occasionally), climbed Mt. Tai drunk (Tai Shan in the Shandong province), did ibogaine, oh lots of things, who can keep track?

I love this part, adorable, and I don't have time for it right now.....but come visit me and you can learn to inoculate wood with mycelium... among other things..
