About Me

CURRENT MISSION

repay my traveller karma

ABOUT ME

I am a native Porltander, but spent 7 years of twenties living in NYC. I have a lot of traveller's karma to pay off and hopefully to pay forward as well. I live in a quiet but fairly close-in part of Portland. Its easy to bike or bus anywhere in the city. We have 2 energetic young dogs, Buio and Falkor. I also have a rat named Wendy.

I am a tattoo artist and I also teach art to children in an after-school program. Let us know, and if we are able, we would love to be your hosts. especially if you will tell us stories or play us songs.

My biggest passion is the arts. Social justice important to me and finding a way to practice the arts in a way to better humanity is my ongoing mission.

P.S. I'm aware that my response rating at the moment is not so good . . . I really hate turning people down and put off doing it. I also lived in NYC for a while and had an INSANE number of requests. But I am back in the hosting game, so please give me a try!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i stayed in a fishing village in Turkey, where I could watch the sunset from a cliff. From above, I could watch all of the boats stop where they were while they watched the sun go down. I went to Christmas Markets in Germany and drank mulled wine. I saw fields of sunflowers from the trains in Eastern Europe. People are the most amazing thing to me though.
