About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover what makes you happy and do it.
ABOUT ME
I'm a mid-western girl, born and raised, which means most people think I'm super nice. I like to think I'm funny, which means I get a lot of pity laughter.
I'm 25 years old and married to my high school sweetheart. I find if I don't have travel plans about every 6 months I get VERY antsy. Traveling, meeting people, and seeing the world are the only things I like to spend my money on - that and books.
My hobbies include: reading, writing, playing Xbox games with the hubsters, generally annoying the crap out of my husband by calling him hubsters, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe we all strive for happiness and I try to make all my decisions based on this. I don't believe in hating someone or their beliefs just because I don't understand them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed once in Madrid, Spain and plan to surf again when I am able to travel. Now that my husband and I have have a home of our own, we're excited to open our doors to weary travelers of the world. :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My surfing experience in Madrid was phenomenal. I've also participated in just some random couchsurfing get-togethers which was a super nice way to meet people in the area.
Interests
I like long walks on the beach, raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

Music, Movies, and Books
"There are only two things that really matter in life. Literature and love." - Daphne Kalotay (Russian Winter)
I have a lot of favorite books - I love to read memoirs, historical fiction, classics, and anything else I get a recommendation for.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've walked on the Great Wall of China, ate the best cheesecake in New York City at Junior's, built a house in Nicaragua with Habitat for Humanity, walked so much in Prague my feet were sore from the cobblestones, slept in a jail-turned-hostel in Slovenia, watched the sunrise over the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, took a ferry from Croatia to Venice, then one to Morocco, and truly lived an amazing life.

Austria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Saint Lucia, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom
