ABOUT ME

I love traveling and experiencing new things. I enjoy listening to other's travel stories and adventures. I think that traveling allows you to meet great new people. Throughout the year I save money so that whenever I have a break/holiday I spend it visiting new places.

Apart from being a huge biology fan (hence my major), I like art and photography. I like to spend time drawing, editing photos, and making small videos of places I've visited. I'm also really interested in languages. Growing up I tried teaching myself German and Portuguese and sadly stopped due to other commitments, however, now I learn Polish on my free time and I'm absolutely enjoying it. It's pretty challenging, but I think that once I get to a conversational level I'll feel pretty satisfied with the achievement. I'm also a Russian major and love practicing my Russian!

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and now currently studying in Tennessee in a small liberal arts college. I'm a double major, interested in going to grad school and leaning towards research. I grew up speaking Spanish, actually that was my first language.

I'll be visiting Europe this summer: England, Scotland, Spain and Portugal. But hopefully sometime soon arrange a trip to visit Eastern Europe and the Middle East

"About Me" sections are always hard for me since I don't know who's reading and what that person wants to know. Hopefully what I have here will suffice.

Life is too short to not experience what you want to do. Enjoy yourself and be good to others. Do what's right. Do what you love to do. Laugh as much as you can. Every experience is a good experience or a lesson.

I want to meet new, interesting, and fun people on my travels.

I would love to host people in Los Angeles or wherever I am, however, I currently live in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee and so it'd be hard to do that in a dorm.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm not a fan of scary movies. I enjoy all types of music! Not really a book person, but I do read every once in a while.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Did field research on coral reefs off the coast of Belize last summer and two things were pretty awesome:
1. While on the field a medium size shark came up to me (pretty close about 2/3 meters away) and swam around for a bit.
2. Snorkeled at night on the reefs and saw so many awesome creatures, got pretty close to a Green Moray eel

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can definitely teach/practice Spanish with whomever I'm staying with.
I want to learn more about the area I'm visiting and of course about the host and their stories.
I'll share laughter and interesting conversations.
