Overview
About Me
I'm humbled by this place we call Earth and even more so as I live on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. I'm a cultural anthropologist based in Micronesia and conduct ethnographic research by collecting data and writing scientific descriptions about people and places. At times I've been known to go diving, hiking, or excavating for work!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’d like to share my island to visitors and show them a unique place! Many times I've been greeted with a friendly face, a delicious meal, or a safe place to sleep and I would be happy to offer it, too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Really, so many!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to Micronesia--I hopped on a sailboat and headed out into the great Blue Continent to experience life at sea, celestial navigation, and to see the sky as the ancient Micronesians saw it--not an ounce of light pollution. Simply magnificent!
Teach, Learn, Share
All human actions can be understood--ask ourselves, "why" and understand culture is an adaptive mechanism and exists as a function of survival.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an anthropologist, divemaster, paddleboarder, runner, avid snorkeler and hiker... so many activities we can share! Sky's the limit–just ask! :)
