About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I must belong somewhere

ABOUT ME

I'm vegetarian (eight or nine years now!) with a few vegan tendencies (avoiding cheese is not one although soy cheese is splendid, just too expensive).

I've finally received my bachelors. Not really looking to do anything with the degree I've obtained (can't really) but come-what-may!

Right now I've a three bedroom house to myself so it's nice sometimes but gets lonely. I can't have pets but I like to travel so it kind of works out.

PHILOSOPHY

Always have something to look forward to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've a decent couch, an armchair that can be slept on comfortably (may smell like a dog, previous renters had a smelly dog that liked that armchair), and a cot that I've slept on for about two years and was comfortable enough.
So, someone come sleep on them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed but I have let Circle Takes the Square and A Voice Like Rhetoric stay at my apartment (when I had an apartment). Those were two great nights, especially the latter.

Interests

Music. Bikes. Running. Sleeping. Driving. Movies. Books. Canada. Europe. France/French. Languages. Philosophy (Existentialism/Sartre). Photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Any movie Criterion has distributed. Foreign/French films as well; Louis Malle, Jean-Luc Godard, Robert Bresson, and Luis Buñuel.

Music: Anything really. Folk to metal, indie to hardcore, classical to rock, etc etc..

Books: Sartre. Murakami. de Beauvoir. etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneous train ride to NYC. Studied abroad in Nottingham. Took a bus tour of Europe (only 7 countries).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a fairly decent cook. I listen to some pretty incredible music. Could make you a mix or burn you some stuff as I have a slew of blank CDs with no plans for them!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
