About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience as much life as possible
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Salt Lake City. My grandparents had all come here to practice Mormonism, from Germany and England and consequently I became interested in Mormon history, as a hobby of sorts. Eventually I left the church, but still maintain a serious interest in Mormon culture as it evolves. My professional interests are in Arabic and Linguistics, and Middle East Studies in general. One of my main goals right now is getting into a PhD program, and getting back to the Middle East to study, asap! I'm happy to show you around the lake, the city, or desert, but I do work Mon-Friday 9-5 for now, so I'm available other than that.
PHILOSOPHY
"We have the technological power, the engineering skills to save our planet, to cure disease, to feed the hungry, to end war; But we lack the intellectual vision, the ability to change our minds. We must de-condition ourselves from 10,000 years of bad behavior. And, it's not easy."
—Terence McKenna

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
