I love writing, reading good books (anything & everything by Tom Robbins, Ken Kesey, George Orwell or Mark Twain) music (classic rock, 80s, 90s grunge, dubstep, reggae, everythingg), surfing, spending time with friends and family, creating good vibes, political activism and meeting new people.

May 2011, I traveled to Japan and reported on the earthquake and tsunami. The people I met and the things I saw, forever changed my perspective. The Japanese culture is so strong and tight-nit with each other, it is inspiring.
