ABOUT ME

I am currently trying to find my next step in life. I'm finishing my masters in voice performance but interested in possibly getting a phd in ethnomusicology. I believe that music is one of the only unifying elements in a global war torn society. It has the ability to bring people from all works of life together. Music supersedes politics, religion, and race issues. Music, Dance, The Arts all have an ability to touch us at our most universal level bringing out the inherent divine in all and I want to be able to further cultivate this idea in others. That ultimately we are all on this planet together, trying to live lives of meaning and happiness and that through mediums of art, music, dance, and play we can create bridges of understanding and change this pain stricken world we live in.

PHILOSOPHY

All about me kind of talks about my personal philosophy. I want to change the world, if I can. I practice Nichirin Buddhism.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be able to make connections with people from around the world. I want to become a global citizen. I want to take responsibility for my happiness and for my affect on the environment. I want to help others to learn how to empower themselves and believe in the power of a dream.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the first time in March of 2011. I traveled with Mark Kinne and Latria Roberts. We stayed at Chris Mcarthy's place in Chicago. It was a lot of fun! We met so many people during the St. Paddy's Day Parade.
