I was born and raised in Belize, but I have been living in Canada for about 7 years now. I bought a one-way ticket to Bangkok in 2013 and have been traveling the world since then. I am constantly seeking new experiences, even if that means telling everyone I know in Canada that I am moving to Europe with zero plans and actually move to Europe with zero plans. So here I am.

My method of traveling has evolved over the years and I am more interested in meeting locals, volunteering, and getting involved with the community - something more genuine and spontaneous. I eventually want to move to Lisbon and teach, and possibly do some hosting myself.

Writing poetry, diving, talking to people, books, films, hiking, yoga, bonding over music, live music, animal welfare, traveling to weird places, learning new languages, karaoke, dancing, coffee, red wine, and writing lists about my interests.

It's hard to only name a few, but some of my favourite musicians are Radiohead, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, A Tribe Called Quest, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Nicolas Jaar and Bjork. I love all types of film, and I mostly read poetry and depressing non-fiction.

Making the decision to travel the world alone. I am particularly amazing at drinking wine under the stars at 4,000 metres next to an active volcano and watching it burst into flames every 20 minutes.

I want to learn about your favourite places and what you love most about where you live. I love exchanging music and book recommendations, learning new recipes, learning a new skill, or being inspired through conversation while drinking a beer at sunset somewhere that overlooks the city. If you want to learn or improve your English I am happy to help. I am also pretty good at salsa dancing now so we can do that too.
