ABOUT ME

Well, I was born in England, but grew up in Nicaragua as my family is from there. I went to Uni in the states after which I worked in a wilderness therapy program with troubled teens. I've just finished my 4th year at graduate school getting my PhD. and am hoping for more adventures. I've backpacked all over before and love exploring new places. There is so much to see and do, I don't think one can really appreciate other places without going.

I'm pretty easy going and get along with almost everyone else I've ever met. As much as I love staying home drinking some wine and reading a book or playing on the computer, I also like going out partying with my friends, visiting a museum, or camping outdoors. (I guess thats why I get along with so many other people, I like it all).

I enjoy bringing my enthusiasm to whatever I do (which is why I could handle working with youth). And I am currently hoping to see as much of Texas as I can within the time permitted.

PHILOSOPHY

I like seeing others smile. I always have time for my friends and I appreciate there is more to do in this world then I will ever have time for, so I will experience as much as I can while I can. My goal is to leave a better place than one I came into (probably impossible at this point). Life is Good!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've (couch) surfed all over the world, though just moved here from Michigan where I was pretty active in CS community here when time permited: attending various events or providing support when available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love CS! I've found that I'm constantly finding like minded people to hang out with and share experiences. Whether it's a mother or child I see everyone getting along.

Interests

making friends, exploring the world, capoeira, learning, teaching, trekking and camping, enjoying a good drink, watching a movie and some times just sitting around reading a good book. I always have time for my friends

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Australia, Bungee Jumping in South Africa, Summiting the highest point in Bali, Reaching the top of Mt. Olympus, Sky diving in Rhode Island, Camping at the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan, and Relaxing at beachs in Nicaragua.
