About Me
ABOUT ME
I am quiet and easy-going by nature, yet I am curious and love to explore. I rarely say no to a new adventure. I am very friendly, polite and respectful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had great experiences with Couchsurfing during a recent trip to Southeast Asia. I hope to meet locals that can share a more authentic cultural experiences while visiting new places.
I am a true believer in that every person you encounter enters your life for a reason, and through places like CS, we can meet so many individuals that give our lives more purpose and have more genuine human connections that everyone desires!
Interests
Traveling of course, exploring new cultures, playing or teaching children new things, practicing Spanish or other languages, relaxing by the beach, always dancing and listening to music, yoga, meditation, hiking, painting or sketching, art and design, and architecture. And a big dog lover! Once I am settled back from my travels my goal is to adopt a husky 🐕 !

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music! Some favorites being Spanish rock, bachata, 90/00’s R&B, Soul/Jazz/Motown hits, and who doesn’t appreciate classics like the Beatles and MJ.
Comedy movies, romantic comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries, Netflix series - but not a huge TV watcher.
Any Paulo Coelho book. My favorite book is the Pilgrimage.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job in corporate America after 7 years to solo travel- 4 months in SE Asia 🌏
I rode 75 miles on a bike (not a cyclist at all!) in a charity event to raise $5K for cancer research
I volunteered for the past 5 years with unprivileged youth in NYC to create a safe, fun environment that is driven by Arts and Mentoring.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to be fluent in Spanish, still a work in progress and would love someone to practice with. After I will learn Italian, Portuguese, and French. I can help teach English. I also practice yoga and can teach to someone who wants to learn. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope to share my New York City lifestyle and experiences, swap travel stories, share delish recipes, and just talk about life.
