About Me
I quit my corporate job 8 months ago and have since been manifesting my health and trying a new career path-- photography. I've been a hobbiest photographer for the last 2 years (with a real love for 35mm film) but have within the past 3 months been making a go of it as a freelancer. Freelancing is more challenging than it seems! But I'm having fun and would rather be on this challenging yet rewarding path than working 60hrs/week at a job I have no passion for nor belief in.
I have 3 personal photography projects that I am focusing on this year and will be traveling to work on them in my spare time.
Some simple things about me:
•My favourite city is New Orleans.
•I've had 17 different homes.
•Every color is my favourite color.
•Friends and strangers say my smile is my best feature :)
•I've been crafty since the age of 3 when I started making my mom necklaces.
•Coconut milk ice cream is my weakness.
•So is indian food.
•Let's be real, food is my weakness.
•I've always had plants as pets because I'm allergic to cats and dogs.
•I *love* being a portrait photographer.
•My favourite number is 11.
"There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
- Anais Nin
Interests
My current interests delve greatly into alternative (natural) ways to heal the body and soul. After being a vegan for 10 years to much avail, I am currently following a Paleo diet, alongside moderate exercise, acupuncture and light therapy. I feel like I am finally getting my life back and being able to enjoy the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Solaris (1972 movie), The Sea Inside, Finding Dory, a handful of rom-coms, Star Wars, The Office :) Basically stuff that's either really emotionally moving, or really lighthearted.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It took 3 years to quit my job. But I finally did it. I decided to live my life, even if I had no plan-- to just quit and free up my time and energy, and give myself the opportunity to see what I was drawn to outside of pressure and being overworked. I'm in the middle of discovering and acting on my realizations from all this and feeling confident in my own life and choices for the first time in a long time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to take your portrait(s) as a thank you! Whether you're looking for a new headshot, or some cute photos with your kiddos or boo, or are designing a fashion line you need some pics of, I'm your girl :)
I also enjoy sharing a home cooked meal, or going for a walk in the park to talk life.
