Hey, I'm Ashton! I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, and study math and biology. I have a few months off from school, so I'm currently travelling through England and France with my girlfriend, Emily. We've been doing the WWOOF thing, but we wanted to spend a couple weeks traveling to other places. We hope to meet as we pass through!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Almost everywhere I've ever traveled, I went to visit friends. It's the best way to travel, because you get to really experience life in a different place, rather than a series of hotel rooms. Of course, there are places on my travel list where I don't have any friends, so I'm on Couchsurfing to make friends as I travel! I hope that I can return the favor once I'm back in Michigan.

I like good music, fresh food, and long conversations about anything. I love math, computers, traveling, sailing, bikes, running, skiing, meeting new people.
