Overview
About Me
Meeting new people and hearing their stories is my favorite thing about travel. I love exploring and learning about cultures, especially recipes, food customs, and music! I'm happy to share my southern cooking and hospitality with anyone who wants to learn about it, too.
I'm trying out the nomad lifestyle for 2019, and I plan to go everywhere. I'm always up for a drink and a good conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel should be affordable and approachable, and that the best way to get to know a place is by meeting the people who call it home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Art = life, so if we chat about music, writing, or whatever your creative passion is, I'll be a happy camper.
My taste in music is... eclectic, to put it politely. This month I'm on a Gil-Scott Heron, Dermot Kennedy, and Post Malone kick. Some undying favorites are Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Classic Crime, Fall Out Boy, Kendrick, Ray LaMontagne.
Favorite books are hard to pin down... I love some classics like Pride and Prejudice and biographies like Bonhoeffer, but also a lot of fantasy: Mistborn, Elantris, and the Bear and the Nightingale.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing and hearing stories from all walks of life. I'm happy to share my culture, food, and language with you. and I'd love to learn about yours in return!
Ich möchte Deutsch lernen.
Aprendí un poco español en la escuela, pero necesito mucha práctica.
