ABOUT ME
I am from the mountains of Virgina and North Carolina in the USA. I consider myself and Appalachian enthusiast. I love local plants, local people, and songs from around the World. I am a songwriter, song teacher, recording artist, caring clown and theater artist. I perform primarily in Community based settings, Nursing Homes, Schools and grassroots style music venues/ festivals. I've traveled with the Clown Doctor Patch Adams, and this work changed my life and my career as an artist.

I am a great house guest. I am 33 years old and I have lots of experience living in community.I am tidy, I am a non smoker and I enjoy connecting with hosts when time allows ! I love animals and I have no allergies to animals though I am sensitive to strong house hold cleaning chemicals or perfumes . I'm happy to help around the house, as time allows.

If I've contacted you as a host, I'm likely on music tour and looking for a place to rest my head. I may not have lots of time to spend socializing , because my social downtime is important to me as a public figure . My work is very social . When I travel I sometimes need whole days without being required to talk. However , occasionally I'm up for a cup of coffee or a meal and I'm very communicative . I'm always generous, and like to gift music to my hosts if desired.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This summer I traveled across the USA with my lovely friend Maggie Clifford. We used couch surfing on several occasions, and we had wonderful experiences meeting new people and sharing our music and stories with them. Also, I love having guests at my home, when I am at home, when i have a home :()

not a big movie watcher, but i will sit down with you just because i like you!. when i watch tv about once a year, i like to watch shows about wild animals. i like non fiction, plant identification guides,spiritual philosophy and historical information.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach clowning, ukulele and guitar, how to make funny faces, theater exercises to reduce stress, some cooking, fermented foods, permaculture concepts, gardening, making fire with bow drill, medicinal plants of the appalachian region (USA)......and a little bit of song writing.
