Overview
About Me
I'm a guy who is on a kind of extended sabbatical from my job doing things that I always wanted to do but somehow couldn't prioritize earlier. Been trekking & travelling through the breadth of country since last one year & intend to continue with the same.
Interests
I just love to go around trekking and love my time on hills. I can be a decent advisor on new technologies for you although off late slightly withdrawn from the latest happenings owing to spending my time in areas of poor connectivity. I'm always game for a discussion on current world scenario, history and politics although not very knowledgeable but I just love to know the various perspective and take on issues and enrich my own understanding through these.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not a music person... hardly listen to them. Books, yes, I love them a lot and keep finding new stuff to read. Some noted ones from last 1 year will be : India after Gandhi, Shantaram, Into thin air, Touching the Void, On the road, Freedom at Midnight, Annapurna, Into the wild, The climb, The white Tiger etc
Movies - Keep watching them on & off. Don't have much recall value for movies but some which I really enjoyed were The Shutter island, Fight Club, Schindler's List, Wolf of the wall street, Blood Diamond, Inception, The departed, Shawshank redemption, Casablanca (Just realized that most of it are Leonardo's movies and I might appear to come across as a fan boy but I'm not)
TV Series (My favourite part) - Watch a lot of these, recent favourite ones are Mr. Robot, House of Cards, Narcos, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Rome, Fargo, Dexter, Heroes (I'm sorry for this but loved heroes since it was my first :P )
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well... i fear cold water bath but then during my first few days of going scot free, I wanted to do a lot of thing which I never did and so when the situation came in, I went ahead all alone, shed my clothing and took an extended dip in the water coming out of a glacial source in Himachal. I shivered, almost lost myself to sheer numbness but the joy was unprecedented. On a few previous occasions I watched my friends do it but never thought I'll be doing that but finally it happened and certainly turned out to be one of my most cherished & amazing feat :D
