ABOUT ME

Since we were child, travelling has been a great interest of our family. Coming from India, we have a LOT to explore in our own huge country, and We've traveled to most of the places of India... Outside India we have been to Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Dubai and Nepal.

As a person, We're a young-at-heart fun loving and simple couple.
We have two sons, the elder one lives with his wife in Germany / Poland and younger one is an Architect in India, who is also on a architectural discovery trip to Europe in 2014..

We are very much interested in various cultures from around the world, we love to host people at our big home in Ahmedabad. we are spiritual person, following ways of the "Art of Living" organization which focuses on Meditation, Yogasan and Pranayam - the breathing technique. The organisation is active in various humanitarian causes.

hmm what else can I say?
Me and my wife are vegetarians, do not drink alcohol, have liberal political views, and are relaxed people! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a huge house in Ahmedabad, India where we host many travelers including the ones which are via couchsurfing website.

A lot of people from around the world stay at our home directly as well via our Sons' network.. Son invite and we host ;) It's simple! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted people from Australia, Spain, USA, Netherlands, Poland Russia Slovakia France Brazil, China, Ukrain and so on..

We went to Europe to attend my Son's Traditional Polish wedding, and then to traveled through Europe, including Berlin,Dresden, Stutgart, Hydelburg, Bad Antagost, Paris and Barcelona.

Interests

- Travelling
I've been to most of India and a couple of other countries including Europe trip, so far.

- Sports
Cricket at top and foot ball, badminton etc.

-Politics
While not actively participating, I follow Indian Politics closely, it's a huge democracy on the move.

- Spirituality / Meditation / Yoga
We follow www.artofliving.org organization, which is a humanitarian group committed to reducing stress in the world and to help societies around the world to develop a conflict-free world. We participate in local social service projects and medidation, yoga etc..

- And last but most importantly:
I try to spend as much time as possible with my old parents who are both more than 80 years old and have led a great life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I felt sweet smile from my unborn grand son.
First sight of my wife and two sons.
My first time Sudarshan kriya.
The marathon inning i played, when i was young and playing cricket.
When i left 31 years old job for feeling more freedom.
